How to Make… You and Me Heart Stamp Wedding Stationery

you and me heart stamp wedding stationery

Chic but cheap heart stamp wedding stationery.

Lucy set us a challenge to make a gorgeous Autumn feel range of wedding stationery that looked amazing but cost pennies. This is what we came up with! I’m totally in love!

This gorgeous range can be easily adapted to your theme by just changing the colour of the ink pad or backing paper………..get creative………personally, I think White Ink on a Kraft Background would look awesome!

Once you’ve forked out for your stamp and ink, each item you make will only cost you pennies! Your guests would never believe how cheaply you made them for.

Before you start, here are some tips for using the stamp effectively:

1 – Don’t put too much ink on the stamp. Dab the stamp on to the pad (rather than pressing it in). Make sure that the whole stamp is covered.

2 – Make sure you are stamping on to a flat surface. If your surface is uneven, you will not be able to get a good finish.

3 – If you are stamping on to a printed background (e.g. the menu), before you print everything, do a test run on scrap paper to make sure you have enough room on your design for your stamp.

4 – Position your stamp before you press it down. When you are sure you have lined it up well, press it firmly in to place and make sure that you don’t move it as you lift.

5 – You might end up smudging one or two (or maybe a few more). So when your stamping, always allow for wastage.
