Instructions:

  1. First of all print your wording on to Pearlised White Paper and Cut to size. The finished size should be 10cm x 10cm. You should be able to fit 2 panels on each sheet if you lay it out carefully.
  2. Secondly cut a piece of Margot Lace Paper 14.75cm x 14.75cm.  Stick this on to the inside panel of your laser cut card using double sided tape (or your tape runner)
  3. The next is to cut a second piece of Pearlised White Card 10.5cm x 10.5cm. Stick this on top of the lace paper (make sure that all the borders are even)
  4. Then stick your wording panel on top of the Pearlised White Card.
  5. Close your invitation.  Holding the Dior Bow at the front centre of the card, fold both loose ends of the ribbon around to the back.  Use Double side tape (or your tape runner) to glue one end of the ribbon on to the other (DO NOT GLUE THE RIBBON TO THE CARD).  You need to make sure that you do not pull it too tight (you want it to be able to slide off the card) but also do not leave it too loose (you don’t want it to drop off the card).
  6. Lastly use your hot melt glue gun to stick the Flutterby embellishment to the centre of the Dior Bow.  Make sure that no glue leaks over on to the card.

Also …….. a Hole Punch and a sharp Scissors

Instructions:

Before you start your name tags, it’s useful to make a template.

Cut a piece of paper 10cm x 6cm. Fold in half lengthways and with the paper folded, use a scissors to cut off the top corner (3cm from the top). When you open the paper, it should leave you with a tag shape. You can use this as a template for your tags.

  1. Firstly cut a piece of Pearlised White Card 10cm x 6cm. Hold the paper template against it and cut off the top edges of card to match the template.
  2. Secondly use a hole punch to punch a hole in the top of your tag.  The hole should be in the centre, appx. 2cm from the top.
  3. Fold your ribbon in half and push the loop through the hole in the card (from the back to the front so that the loop is at the front of the card.
  4. Feed the loose ends of the ribbon through the loop and pull tightly.
  5. Use a scissors to cut the ends of the ribbon in to a neat point.
  6. Print your guest names on to pearlised white paper and cut down to size.  The finished size should be appx. 5cm wide x 1.5cm high.
  7. Cut a piece of Pearlised White Card appx. 0.5cm larger than the guest name panels (5.5cm x 2cm).  Stick this to the front of the tag, making sure the borders are as even as possible on the top, bottom and right hand side.
  8. As a last step use double sided tape to stick the guest names on to the pearlised white card panel.

DIY wedding favour box in lilac. Wedding favour idea. Lilac with butterflies

FAVOUR BOX

We made this little wedding favour box to go with the range.  It was so pretty that we just couldn’t leave it out!  I haven’t given instructions on how to make this because it’s basically just a little box (any box) wrapped neatly in paper and then finished with ribbon.  It’s as easy as wrapping a parcel!  Just use a glue gun to stick the embellishment on the top once you’ve finished!  What a lovely little gift for your guests…
Oh, and don’t forget to fill the box before starting to wrap!!!
