Mr & Mrs Harries…Their Wedding, Their Way

As you may have heard, Sam, who works in our office has recently got married! Here is how they did…Mr & Mrs Harries…Their Wedding, Their Way

We eat, sleep, and breathe everything to do with weddings. That’s why we had to share some of the highlights from his (and his wife’s!) special day!

Sam & Angharad wanted to design their own wedding invitations and use materials from ourselves at Imagine DIY. Because 140 guests were invited, Sam & Angharad decided to create an invitation that was simple and easy to create at home together.

Using our shiny new Silver Glitter Wallets, Sam & Angharad came up with a beautiful, yet simple design.

In order to have a venue that was as stylish as their invitations, Sam & Angharad decided to hold their reception at the Haverfordwest Pavilion. Sue and her professional team were on hand to help with organising the big day. This wonderful venue has undergone significant refurbishment and now has capacity for over 150 seated guests.

Sam & Angharad worked hard with their table decorations using guides and products from Imagine DIY. Place cards were made using our Kraft Doily range along with our new Lucy Corners to create an elegant place setting.

As time approached for their special day, Sam and Angharad looked for ways to personalise their wedding with details that were meaningful for them.

As Sam has a background in the Coffee industry, they decided to create their own bespoke Coffee Cups. They used them with the Coffee Cart that they had rented! How exciting!

Using the unique skills of the Wedding Cup Company, Sam & Angharad created a hessian themed cup aided by help from the team of designers who worked closely with them to create a prototype. This prototype very soon became reality in readiness for their big day! How awesome does it look?!

As the big day drew ever closer, attention turned to helping Angharad decide on a make up artist for the day. This was an easy choice for Angharad. Having heard from friends about Amrie – who previously worked at Harrods in London, she decided to learn more! After a relaxed and easygoing makeup trial, Angharad decided it was a clear choice to use the specially honed skills of Amrie to help her prepare for her big day.

We felt ever so pleased to be able to attend and be such a close part of Sam & Angharad’s special day in April.

We certainly hope you enjoyed reading a little more about their wedding. Perhaps you found some ideas that you can use in planning your big day!

Kind regards,

The Imagine DIY team.
