Opulent Wedding Stationery

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN OPULENT WEDDING STATIONERY

For many people, when they think of DIY, they think of low budget; low style.  We want to prove to you that DIY can be chic, opulent and totally impressive.  This sumptuous range of our opulent wedding stationery is really easy to achieve at home at a fraction of the cost of buying them.

The rich colours work really well together.  However, if you love the style but the colours won’t work for you, this is an easy range to customise.  Just choose an alternative paper pattern / colour and you can totally change the overall impression.  Why not order some samples and have a go yourself?

WEDDING FAVOURS

For these wedding favours, we have wrapped and decorated some small individual bars of luscious Green & Blacks chocolates.  You can achieve this same effect with almost anything.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Decorative_270x250 1 Row of 2mm self adhesive crystal rows. BUY
Paper_270x250 1/4 sheet of Ascot Paper in Raspberry BUY

Other Things You Might Need:

 Tools_270x250  Paper Trimmer BUY
Useful_270x250  Tape Runner or Double Sided Tape BUY
 Useful_270x250 Glue Gun BUY

(and some individual bars of Green & Blacks Chocolates!!!)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut a piece of Ascot Paper about 1.5cm wide than the bar of chocolate and long enough to wrap all the way around.
  2. You’ll need to wrap the chocolate in the same way that you would wrap a present……
Place your chocolate face down in the centre of your paper.  Run a line of tape along one edge of the paper and wrap around until to covers the chocolate and is stuck together along one edge.
  3. Turn the chocolate to one of the sides that is currently open.  Pull the bottom of the paper up towards the top of the chocolate and hold in to place.  Fold in each side of the paper until it touches the box.  Make a crease along the paper so that you have a point that can be folded and stuck in to place with the glue gun.
  4. Repeat the process on the other open end.
  5. Peel off a row of self adhesive crystals.  Starting the bottom of the bar of chocolate, about 1cm in from the edge, press the row of crystal stickers in to place around the side of the bar of chocolate.  Keep pressing in to place until the crystals join together and you have an endless row around the outside edge of the bar.  Cut off any excess.
Repeat the process on the opposite side so that you have 2 parallel lines of crystals running around the outside edge of the gift.
