TOP TIP - Mix Printing With Laser Cuts

In the ongoing battle between printed wedding stationery and handmade wedding stationery, Emlyn (a qualified graphic designer) along with his fiancé Jess, managed to create the perfect alternative - Mix Printing With Laser Cuts. The results were so lovely that I couldn’t resist producing a top tip.
So here’s my top tip of the week...
For really special invitations that are totally unique to you, try combining printed graphics with laser cut invitations.

The benefits?

The colour choices are totally within your control.
It's cost effective - You don’t have to add expensive embellishments or extra papers because your graphics will speak for themselves.
It's time-saving - no fiddly cutting and sticking to create the details
and it’s something totally unique to you.

You don't have to be amazing with computer graphics either!

This example by Jess and Simon was done simply using Microsoft word.  There are numerous websites where you can download free fonts.  You can also add either a picture or photograph on additional inserts (Jess drew a map for directions).

why not give this a try yourself?
